One package will make 6 cups of
Salsa...a little goes a long way! All you need to add is canned or fresh diced
tomatoes and/or tropical fruit.
Directions:
Add 2 tbsp. (30ml) of Fruit Salsa Mix to 1/2 cup (125ml) of canned diced (finely
chopped) tomatoes. add 1/2 cup (125ml) of your favorite tropical fruit e.g.
crushed pineapple, peaches, pears, mangos, etc. Mix well and refrigerate for
approx. 2-3 hours. This will re-hydrate our natural herbs and spices. Serve
with your favorite tortilla chips, crackers or bread, as a side dish or condiment.
Experiment using in omelettes, as a spaghetti/rice topping or as a great addition
to soups and stews. Enjoy!
When used with Fresh Tomatoes:
Add 1/4 cup (60ml) of Salsa Mix to 2 tbsp. (30ml) of olive oil. Mix well. Add
3-4 finely chopped Roma Tomatoes (or 2 large finely chopped tomatoes). Stir
gently. Dice 1 cup (250ml) of your favorite fresh tropical fruit e.g. pineapple,
peaches, pears, mangos, mandarins, papaya, etc. (Use canned fruit, if desired.)
Follow directions from above for refrigeration time and serving. Easy, fresh
and healthy!
