One package will make
6 cups of Salsa...a little goes a long way! All you need to add is canned or
fresh diced tomatoes.
Directions:
Finely chop whole Chipotle Peppers (enclosed). Mix with remaining package contents.
Add 2 tbsp. (30ml) of Chipotle Southwest Salsa Mix to 1 cup (250ml) of canned
diced (finely chopped) tomatoes. If desired, add some chopped green and/or red
peppers; a portion of canned corn (drained) and/or canned black beans (rinsed
and drained). Mix well and refrigerate for approx. 2-3 hours. This will re-hydrate
our natural herbs and spices. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips, crackers
or bread, as a side dish or condiment. Experiment using in omelettes, as a spaghetti/rice
topping or as a great addition to soups and stews. Enjoy!
When used with Fresh
Tomatoes:
Finely chop whole Chipotle Peppers (enclosed). Mix with remaining package contents.
Add 1/4 cup (60ml) of Salsa Mix to 2 tbsp. (30ml) of olive oil. Mix well. Add
6-8 finely chopped Roma Tomatoes (or 3 large finely chopped tomatoes). Follow
directions from above for adding peppers, corn and beans including refrigeration
time. Easy, fresh and healthy!
